This Saturday, January 19th, international man of mystery Pat Falco shows new and recent works at Thomas Young Studios in South Boston. Pat reached out to us to create some posters for the event, and we were happy to work on this one-color split fountain print. The prints create a nice twilight feel, and we had a lot of fun creating them. Check the process shots below, and the video teaser for the event on Saturday… and swing by if you’re in the neighborhood – they’ll be tons and tons of work.
We’ve been gearing up for this year’s Fall installment of South Boston Open Studios. For information check out the Distillery’s website (the building we’re located in) or go to the Open Studios Website directly. Be sure to stop by King Terminal and the brand new Thomas Young Studios. See you there!
This weekend marks the first year we’ll be attending the Boston Ahts Festival in the North End. While we usually just roll out of bed, jam a couple shirts into some bins and throw them in the trunk before shows like this; this past month we’ve been busy as hell restocking a bunch of out of stock tees. We’ve also had the opportunity to create some new work that will be unveiled at the event. We’ll have a pretty ground-breaking collaboration to unveil, some new colorways of old classics, and some new wood panel pieces from Jay LaCouture. The event is stacked with talented artists and should be a great weekend. Feel free to stop by our booth and chat us up.
The show details can be found at the City of Boston website, and a list of participants is below.
See you this weekend.
It’s that time of year again, and the studio doors will be propped open all day on June 3rd for this years installment of Spring Open Studios. Stop by the Distillery, studio 202, to see what we’ve been up to.
Had a really good time at the NPR show last month. The event was packed, the artwork was amazing, and now there’s a well-designed website to commemorate the show at nationalposterretrospecticus.com. We live printed show posters during the event, and anyone who purchased a poster upstairs got a free poster from the set we were creating. Here’s some photos we took during the event:
Boston’s annual Electronic music festival runs all week this week with a ridiculous number of events spread throughout the city. Below is a screenshot of the schedule from the Together site, be sure to head over there and take it all in. We’ll have a table setup at the Get Together, Saturday April 7 down at the new Mass Ave spot. Stop by, say hi.
