In August of 2025, the good folks at the Museum of Science Boston invited us to do some live silkscreen printing on tote bags. They were holding an event called Pedal Power which was all about bikes and bike safety in our city. This is something that’s near and dear to us! Many of our team members, past and present, are avid cyclists in the city.

Our task for this event was to design graphics to be printed on 800 totebags in a four-hour event window. We can handle that output with our standard setup that uses four flash dryers and two presses. We had six staff members on site and made sure the venue could handle our power needs. There are many factors that can kill a live event. For us, the biggest one is not having the power you need to cure what you’re printing. Once we confirmed our power supply was all good, we got to work designing the totes and prepping the screens.

If you’re looking to host a live silkscreen printing event like this one, feel free to reach out through this form.
