I was commissioned this winter to create a version of my Tiger print on wood. It had been a while since I had done any screen printing on wood, and I decided to capture the process for the AntiDesigns youtube channel.
People get hung up on printing different materials. Screen printing on wood is no different that printing on other materials, you just need to remember the basics: proper off contact, pre-surface treatment, and using the right inks. I used Speedball’s acrylic metallic gold and Spectrachem’s jet black for these inks.
