Our good friends at Crazygoodz asked us to do some screen printing with reflective ink. Reflective ink has been on our radar for a while now and it was great to finally test it out. We printed on our favorite sweatshirt brand, Independent Trading Company, with a 1-color front, back and sleeve print.

The reflective ink has a slew of tiny beads that reflect light. We’ve all seen athletic gear that has this and with the ink technology becoming more accessible, I think we’ll be seeing a lot more. We tested a few different garment colors and made sure to play around with different mesh counts. The front design has some tiny text that required a 195 mesh and we were still able to get a good reflection.

The second and third photo in the set above shows the prints coming out of the dryer in regular light and reflected light. Really happy with the way these turned out.

If you’re looking to have screen printing with reflective inks done for a project of your own, feel free to reach out.
